Associate – Strategic Planning (FP&A)

About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a proactive Associate to join its Strategic Finance and Planning team in London. You will act as a finance business partner, linking Finance, Legal, Compliance and Marketing with the central FP&A function to ensure budgets and forecasts accurately reflect operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Business partnering: support executive teams and align resourcing with the business roadmap.
• Budget management: lead the budgeting process, gather requirements and set timelines.
• Financial analysis: produce accurate analysis and commentary for senior leaders.
• Reporting: run quarterly forecast updates and monthly management information packs.
• Process improvement: implement changes to streamline information flow across a fast‑scaling international organisation.
• Decision support: provide insights for investment and project decisions.
• Data integrity: ensure consistency and quality of data within group budgets and reporting.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in FP&A, strategic finance or business analysis.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services or payments is a plus.
