About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural engineering designs and detailed analyses for nuclear facilities from concept through implementation.
• Produce high‑quality calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Act as technical authority within multidisciplinary project teams, verifying that designs meet regulatory and safety requirements.
• Support safety case development, design justification and independent checking activities.
• Maintain rigorous quality assurance and ensure compliance with nuclear and statutory standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients to resolve complex technical challenges.

Required profile

• Chartered Structural Engineer with experience in the nuclear sector or similarly regulated environments.
• Strong technical judgement and ability to work independently on complex problems.
• Excellent collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
