About the role

Join a well‑established multi‑office accountancy practice in the North West as an Audit & Accounts Semi‑Senior. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, developing your technical expertise while enjoying a supportive team culture and a flexible 4‑day week.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Support senior team members on a varied client portfolio.
• Develop technical knowledge through practical experience and professional study.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver high‑quality service.
• Collaborate with the audit and accounts team to meet deadlines.
• Gain exposure to a range of accounting software and client systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Positive team attitude and a full UK driving licence with own transport.

Required skills

• AAT qualification or current study.
• Interest in progressing to ACCA.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
