Audit Semi Senior - International

About the role

BDO is seeking a Semi‑Senior Audit professional to join its International Audit team. You will work on coordinated secondary audit services for multinational clients, collaborating with BDO member firms worldwide and travelling overseas as required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality audit engagements for multinational entities, leveraging finance service centre controls.
• Design and execute efficient global audit strategies in partnership with international BDO offices.
• Project‑manage centralised audit offerings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Review systems and control environments, perform risk assessments and substantive testing on key risk areas.
• Maintain compliance with ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP and anti‑money‑laundering regulations.

Required profile

• Studying towards ACA, ACCA, ICAS qualification or an overseas equivalent.
• Working knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience reviewing control environments, conducting risk assessments and substantive testing.
• Familiarity with firm services, regulatory compliance and anti‑money‑laundering rules.
• Awareness of current economic and market trends.
