Backend Software Engineer – Travel API

About the role

Join Duffel’s London team to build the core API that powers millions of travel bookings. You will design beautiful, high‑performance APIs and integrate them with hundreds of travel providers, delivering a seamless developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Duffel’s travel distribution API.
• Integrate the API with diverse travel provider systems.
• Ensure high code quality, robust testing, and clear documentation.
• Help define and evolve engineering standards and processes.
• Collaborate across product, design, and operations to balance technical trade‑offs with business impact.
