Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist

About the role

This Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist position offers a six‑month rotation across a variety of NHS services, including in‑patient medical rehabilitation, community therapy, musculoskeletal, stroke, and cardio‑respiratory long‑term conditions. You will deliver high‑quality physiotherapy care while developing a broad skill set within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment across multiple clinical settings.
• Manage an agreed caseload under the supervision of senior physiotherapy staff.
• Adapt to the complexity of each environment, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and research activities.
• Use Trust resources responsibly and support continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Relevant physiotherapy qualification and HCPC registration.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work sensitively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Physical capability to perform moderate to intense effort throughout the day.
• Flexibility to meet service needs and uphold Trust values.
