About the role
The Band 7 Clinical Lead will provide clinical leadership within the nursing team at Western General Hospital. This position supports NHS Lothian’s Nursing and Midwifery Strategic Plan and reinforces a collaborative, person‑focused approach to care.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the nursing workforce to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care.
- Promote and embed the NHS Scotland equality, diversity and inclusion policies.
- Ensure compliance with the PVG Scheme and complete required Disclosure Scotland checks.
- Support disabled candidates and make reasonable adjustments throughout recruitment and employment.
