Bookkeeper – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Bookkeeper to join our finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day‑to‑day financial operations within a stable, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain purchase and sales ledgers and process all financial transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the integrity of general ledger data.
• Support month‑end activities, including reconciliations and reporting preparation.
• Liaise with internal colleagues and external contacts to resolve queries and improve processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a bookkeeping role with strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general ledger processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident communicator capable of liaising at all levels.
