Building Surveyor – Social Housing Projects

About the role

This position offers a hybrid, site‑based role for a Building Surveyor working on a major long‑term social housing framework across Birmingham and the West Midlands. You will split your time between remote work and visits to project sites, supporting both new‑build and refurbishment schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Building Surveying services across a major social housing framework.
• Manage client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct initial surveys, produce reports and oversee projects through to completion.
• Work autonomously across multiple sites while maintaining communication with the head office.

Required profile

• RICS‑accredited construction or surveying degree.
• Experience in residential refurbishment or public‑sector projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Working towards or already holding RICS Chartership.
