Business Advisory Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Business Advisory Manager to join our growing team in Glasgow. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with Client Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients across key sectors including Agriculture, Technology, Energy, and Construction.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the timely and profitable delivery of a diverse client portfolio, including annual accounts, management accounts, and tax returns (corporate and personal).
• Lead the preparation and review of VAT returns, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Provide high-quality supervision, feedback, and professional coaching to Assistants and Seniors to foster talent development.
• Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to identify cross-selling opportunities and add value to client services.
• Handle portfolio management tasks, including onboarding new clients, fee preparation, work-in-progress monitoring, and debt management.
• Address and resolve ad-hoc client queries with professionalism and expertise.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and complex portfolios.
• Professional qualification in ICAS, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting body is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
