Business Analyst – Regulatory & Tech Projects (5‑month contract)

About the role

Pontoon is seeking a Business Analyst for a 5‑month fixed‑term contract with a leading banking client in London. The role focuses on regulatory and technology‑driven initiatives that enhance client reporting for institutional investors and regulated fund ranges.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of change requests and projects through the full lifecycle – from requirements gathering to handover.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to mitigate risk, increase automation, standardise processes and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with clients and prospective clients to support new business opportunities and improve client‑driven reporting.
• Monitor project progress, report key metrics and promptly escalate delays, issues and risks.
• Drive best‑practice change‑management approaches, challenge existing workflows and coach team members.
• Produce high‑quality documentation, including business requirements, technical specifications, procedures and process flows.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Asset Management or Servicing.
• Strong knowledge of client reporting and change delivery processes.
• Expertise in data analysis and process improvement.
• Solid experience in UAT testing.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Familian.
• Familiarity with Alladin.
