About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Executive to expand our UK operations by selling electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. This is a solution‑selling position focused on understanding client challenges and designing long‑term, value‑driven charging services.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of workplace and depot fleet opportunities.
- Engage decision‑makers to uncover electrification challenges.
- Promote the Charging as a Service model as a sustainable, long‑term solution.
- Build relationships with businesses, fleet operators, property stakeholders, and partners.
- Prepare proposals that combine infrastructure, funding, and ongoing services.
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are deliverable and aligned with customer needs.
- Meet and exceed activity and revenue targets with senior‑team support.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of B2B sales experience (industry experience not required).
- Strong ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially minded with a consultative, problem‑solving approach.
- Highly self‑motivated, organised, and eager to learn.
- Confident communicator, both in person and on the phone.
- Keen interest in sustainability or renewable energy is a plus.
