About the role
RSM Drain Solutions is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth for its Drainage Division across the UK. The role is primarily telesales‑focused, requiring proactive outreach, relationship building, and the ability to convert leads into revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and emails.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone and email.
- Use the CRM system to track customers, leads, and sales activities.
- Present quotes and negotiate terms with prospects.
- Achieve KPIs and sales targets set by management.
- Organise daily workload and collaborate with the sales team.
- Participate in team meetings and share best practices.
Required profile
- Previous telesales experience (essential).
- Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills.
- Motivated, resilient and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with a passion for sales and growth.
- Experience in the drainage or environmental sector is a plus but not required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.

- Competitive salary range £28,000‑£35,000 per year.
