Business Development Manager – Fire & Security Systems

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead field‑sales activities for a specialist fire and security solutions provider. You will focus on delivering turn‑key projects to logistics, industrial and commercial end‑users across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and manage the full sales cycle for projects ranging from £2,000 to £400,000.
• Promote a portfolio that is 80% CCTV and 20% fire alarms, intruder alarms and access control.
• Achieve annual sales targets of £700,000‑£800,000 in project value.
• Leverage leads from partner manufacturers and develop relationships with new prospects.
• Present and sell complete turn‑key fire and security solutions to decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Proven field‑sales track record within the fire and security industry.
• Experience selling CCTV solutions (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong network of contacts in the fire & security marketplace.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous new‑business hunter with high ambition.
• Electrical or engineering qualification or prior technical experience is advantageous.

• Base salary £55,000 plus commission (realistic OTE £170,000).
