Business Readiness Consultant

About the role

The Business Readiness Consultant is responsible for ensuring a smooth, risk‑mitigated transition of Moorepay’s payroll engine into operational service. You will lead business‑readiness activities, coordinate testing, and work closely with product, development and customer‑facing teams to guarantee the solution is fully tested, understood and ready for deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a clear process for business‑initiated change, ensuring seamless hand‑over from product and development to operations and the end customer.
• Plan, manage and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for product changes and fixes, confirming they meet quality standards before release.
• Provide leadership and operational oversight for a Kochi‑based team of four Business Readiness Testers, ensuring high‑quality integration and UAT execution.
• Maintain and apply standard delivery methodologies, test scripts and deployment frameworks.
• Create feedback loops to product, development and implementation teams to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Develop and deliver readiness plans that prepare operations, colleagues and customers for upcoming changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to update all relevant documentation and training collateral.
• Partner with the Learning and Development manager to design and update training materials for new features and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating business‑readiness or change‑management activities across multiple functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a distributed testing team.
• Detail‑oriented approach with a proactive attitude toward risk mitigation.
• Experience working in payroll, finance or enterprise software environments is advantageous.
