Business Studies Lecturer – Higher Education

About the role

The Supply Register is recruiting on behalf of NCG for a Business Studies Lecturer to join the academic team at NCG’s Higher Education Centre in Canary Wharf, London. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and may be temporary or permanent, depending on experience and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across undergraduate Business programmes.
• Plan lessons, assessments and marking in line with awarding body and institutional requirements.
• Support students with academic development, progression and employability skills.
• Contribute to course development and curriculum enhancement.
• Maintain academic standards and quality‑assurance processes.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support ongoing programme development.

Required profile

• A degree (or higher) in Business, Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching in a Higher Education setting or delivering HE‑level Business content.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills.
• A student‑centred approach with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Excellent communication, organisational and assessment skills.
