Business Studies Teacher – Secondary School

About the role

Reeson Education is recruiting a Business Studies Teacher for a secondary school in Hackney, East London. The role starts in September 2026 and is a full‑time contract covering most of the academic term.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Business Studies BTEC and A‑Level lessons to post‑16 students.
• Plan, prepare and evaluate engaging curriculum activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the Business and Economics team to share best practices.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
• Prior experience with post‑16 (BTEC/A‑Level) programmes preferred.
• Confident classroom presence and ability to inspire learners.
• Positive, proactive attitude and commitment to school values.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of BTEC and A‑Level Business curricula.
• Lesson planning and assessment expertise.
