Business Unit Integrator – Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

Join a leading Defence sector organisation as a Business Unit Integrator, providing senior financial analysis and project accounting support. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate financial information that drives strategic decisions across ongoing projects and new contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior financial analyst, delivering timely decision‑making data to management.
• Manage full‑cycle project accounting from proposal development through contract closure.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses, including Estimates at Completion (EAC) and variance reporting.
• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting for designated business areas and contracts.
• Assess risk and opportunity impacts, supporting operational teams with profitable solutions.
• Develop performance reporting metrics and management information for programme leadership.

Required profile

• Experience in an operations‑facing finance team as a business partner to operational managers.
• Strong financial acumen with a self‑starter attitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Qualified accountant or equivalent background in accounting, finance, economics, or project controlling – preferably with Defence sector exposure.
