Calibration Engineer – Test Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Calibration Engineer to join a leading metallurgical testing company in the North West. You will be the go‑to specialist for tensile, harness and impact testing equipment, delivering calibration, verification and repair services across a regional patch with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate, service and repair tensile testing machines.
• Maintain and verify harness testing equipment.
• Perform impact testing machine calibration and troubleshooting.
• Provide on‑site support to customers throughout the North West.
• Document all work in accordance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience with at least one of the following: tensile, harness or impact test machines.
• Ability to work independently and manage a regional workload.
• Willingness to travel within the North West and occasionally further afield.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development in hydraulic, electrical and mechanical testing systems.
