Assembly & Test Technician

About the role

Moog Aircraft Group is seeking experienced Assembly & Test Technicians to join its Wolverhampton facility. The role involves assembling and testing flight‑critical actuators and sub‑components to exacting aerospace tolerances, working from engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and test flight‑critical actuators and sub‑components with high precision.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, vernier calipers and height gauges.
• Interpret engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
• Complete quality audits and manage release to service of repaired actuators.

Required profile

• Apprentice‑trained or equivalent qualification, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in an engineering/manufacturing role, ideally within aerospace.
• Dynamic and proactive attitude.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required.

Required skills

• Use of micrometers, vernier calipers and height gauges.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with component maintenance manuals.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality systems.
