Care Assistant – Day Shift at Eastridge Manor

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our day‑shift team at Eastridge Manor, a residential care home in Bolney, West Sussex. You will help deliver high‑quality personal care and social interaction to our residents, supporting their independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
• Promote independence and enablement, offering support when needed.
• Record personalised resident interactions in the electronic care system.
• Serve food and drinks, encouraging social dining experiences.
• Build relationships with relatives to understand and meet residents’ needs.
• Deliver social stimulation and engage residents in activities.

Required profile

• Kind, caring attitude with a positive approach.
• Energetic, hard‑working and passionate about delivering superior care.
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable, but training will be provided.
