Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Driver – 4 on/4 off Shift

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) Driver to join our operations team. You will be responsible for securely moving cash, coins and valuables between customer locations across the UK, working independently while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport cash, coins and other valuables to and from designated customer sites, including ATM replenishment.
• Follow established security procedures and protocols to protect assets in transit.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere to traffic, parking regulations and company policies to ensure safe driving.
• Maintain accurate records of each transaction, including amounts and locations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle unforeseen situations professionally to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (preferred).
• Previous experience in security or an SIA role (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• No live CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcy declarations.

Required skills

• SIA CViT licence (will be provided through training).
• Valid driver’s licence.
