Casualty Loss Adjuster – Field Based (South East UK)

About the role

Davies is seeking an experienced Casualty Loss Adjuster to join its growing claims team. The role is field‑based, covering caseloads across the South East – particularly the M1 corridor, Milton Keynes, M25 and Watford – and requires regular travel within this area.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with insurers, policyholders and brokers to manage claim communication.
• Investigate allocated casualty claims both in the field and from the desk.
• Compile all necessary evidence and documentation for each case.
• Prepare preliminary reports detailing evidence, policy indemnity, legal liability and quantum.
• Determine appropriate actions for case resolution and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• Maintain accurate reserves through regular review.
• Stay updated on technical and regulatory changes through company‑provided training.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a loss adjuster handling casualty claims.
• Strong knowledge of insurance markets, legal principles and civil procedure rules.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good planning, organisational abilities and a full driver’s licence.
