C/C++ Software Engineer – Core Development

About the role

Join a leading global high‑frequency trading firm as a pragmatic C/C++ Engineer within the Core Development team. You will help architect, build and maintain a cutting‑edge algorithmic trading platform, collaborating closely with technologists and traders in a fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance software for fast networking, real‑time acceleration and high‑performance computing.
• Co‑design hybrid hardware/software applications and low‑level network architectures.
• Develop low‑level and embedded software components that meet stringent latency requirements.
• Translate ideas from traders into deployable, reliable code quickly and accurately.

Required profile

• Strong C/C++ design and programming abilities with solid API design experience.
• Broad knowledge of algorithms and a basic understanding of statistics and algebra.
• Experience with Python, Matlab or R for data analytics (including Matplotlib, NumPy).
• Proven track record developing low‑level or embedded software in a dynamic environment.
• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
