CCTV Engineer – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a motivated CCTV Engineer to join our client’s security team in Birmingham. The role is field‑based, covering Birmingham and surrounding areas, and involves installing, servicing and maintaining IP CCTV, access control and wireless alarm systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install IP CCTV, access control and wireless alarm systems for a variety of clients.
• Service, uninstall and maintain installed equipment as required.
• Provide on‑site support and ensure high‑quality workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal administration.
• Adhere to industry regulations and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the electronic security sector as an installation or service engineer.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and familiarity with multiple alarm brands.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
