Cisco SD-WAN Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cisco SD-WAN Engineer to join a client’s network team on a 3‑to‑6‑month contract. This is a hands‑on 3rd Line Support position focused on a complex enterprise Cisco environment, with a strong emphasis on Cisco SD‑WAN (Viptela and Catalyst). The role involves troubleshooting incidents, supporting day‑to‑day operations, and providing technical expertise across the SD‑WAN estate.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex network incidents in a Cisco SD‑WAN environment.
• Support business‑as‑usual operations and assist with planned network changes.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise for the SD‑WAN portfolio.
• Collaborate with other network teams to ensure seamless integration of SD‑WAN with existing infrastructure.
• Document resolutions and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Proven 3rd Line network support experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong background with Cisco SD‑WAN technologies (Viptela and Catalyst).
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault‑finding abilities.
• CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent is desirable.
