Civil Leading Hand and Foreman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand and Foreman to join our team on an over‑55s estate project in Parkhurst. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery while supporting the growth of our regional portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
• Manage personnel and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with construction plans, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a positive, solutions‑driven team culture.
• Deliver work safely, on schedule and to high standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman, preferably on subdivision, bulk earthworks, civils or roadworks projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Construction Industry Card (White or Blue) and a current driver’s licence.
• Relevant plant‑machinery tickets are highly regarded.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
