Client Service Representative (Temporary Full‑Time)

About the role

The City of London is seeking a Client Service Representative to deliver high‑quality service to residents and program participants within the Housing Stability Services area. This temporary, full‑time position supports the municipality’s commitment to inclusive, anti‑racist community services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, program participants, and the public.
• Use client screening, appointment booking, and scheduling systems to collect information, verify arrivals, and prioritize needs.
• Assign applicants to appropriate meeting spaces and coordinate with staff and managers as required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of social services available in the community.
• Offer information and referrals about services in person, by mail, or by phone.
• Distribute cheques, purchase vouchers, bus tickets, and other items according to established procedures.

Required profile

• Full‑time temporary role (up to 1 year) reporting to a manager or designate.
• Ability to work onsite in London, Ontario.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
