Cluster Architect

About the role

Radiant is building purpose‑built AI infrastructure and needs a Cluster Architect to lead new GPU deployments. You will shape technical strategy, reference architecture and governance for high‑performance AI compute platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and translate inputs into reference architecture and low‑level design blueprints.
• Lead low‑level design of high‑density AI supercomputer systems, covering compute, interconnect, storage and management.
• Produce detailed design artifacts such as rack elevation diagrams, data‑center floor plans, power and cooling architecture, and Bill of Materials.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board and evaluate trade‑offs between performance, power, cooling, serviceability and cost.
• Drive technical evaluations during RFx processes and ensure vendor alignment.
• Play a hands‑on role in manufacturing, burn‑in, cabling, benchmarking and implementation of new deployments.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field.
• 5+ years of solution architecture experience with a focus on datacenter engineering, GPU systems and high‑performance networking.
• Proven ability to produce detailed infrastructure designs, including network topologies, rack layouts, power and cooling planning.
• Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing with engineering, operations teams and vendors.
