CNC Setter/Operator – Training on Programming (Exeter)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a fast‑growing engineering company that supplies aerospace, defence and Formula 1 sectors. The role is based at Exeter Airport and offers a four‑day week with back‑end shifts, providing hands‑on experience and training in CNC programming.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
• Work closely with senior engineers to learn and apply CAM programming techniques.
• Manage a growing workload from multiple UK customers while maintaining quality standards.
• Participate in overtime and shift work as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC machinery, specifically mills.
• Willingness to work back‑end shifts (11:30 am – 9:45 pm) on a four‑day week.
• Desire to develop programming skills in CAM software.
