About the role

The Legists are seeking a Commercial Litigation Chartered Legal Executive to join their London team. The role involves providing legal advice, handling a commercial litigation caseload and working closely with senior legal professionals across a range of public‑sector matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal and external clients on commercial litigation matters.
• Provide clear guidance and manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals, including senior officials and departmental representatives.
• Develop expertise across advisory, litigation, employment and commercial law services.
• Deliver persuasive, balanced and risk‑based legal advice.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Strategic and creative thinking applied to complex legal issues.
• Reliable judgement, strong analytical ability and impartial decision‑making.
• Collaborative, able to work at pace and communicate complex issues clearly.
• For London‑based candidates, DV security clearance may be required.
