Commercial & Residential Conveyancing Locum Lawyer

About the role

The Ten Percent Group, a solicitors firm in London W4, is seeking a locum lawyer to handle both residential and commercial conveyancing work. The position will primarily be office‑based with a hybrid element, covering the recruitment period for a permanent appointment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of residential and commercial property transactions.
• Prepare and review conveyancing documentation, including contracts, transfers and leases.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, surveyors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
• Provide advice on commercial property matters, supporting the existing commercial fee earner.
• Maintain accurate records and meet firm deadlines.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience in conveyancing.
• Demonstrated ability to handle commercial property work alongside residential matters.
• Availability to start immediately and work on a locum basis.
• Willingness to work mainly on‑site with occasional remote support.
