Complex Care Support Worker – 24‑hour Home Care

About the role

This ongoing opportunity offers regular day and night shifts as part of a dedicated nurse‑led care team, working alongside a nurse on every shift to deliver safe, person‑centred care in the client’s home.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care according to detailed care plans and protocols, including invasive ventilation and tracheostomy management.
• Provide personal care, comfort, repositioning and support for daily living activities while maintaining dignity and choice.
• Administer medication, monitor observations, and recognise signs of deterioration, escalating concerns promptly.
• Perform emergency procedures, TPN support, RIG medication administration, diabetes monitoring, suprapubic catheter and colostomy care.
• Ensure infection prevention and control and accurate documentation of all care activities.

Required profile

• Experienced in complex home care with confidence in invasive ventilation and tracheostomy care.
• Calm, observant and reliable in a high‑acuity environment.
• Comfortable working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Respectful of dignity, privacy and personal choice, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
