Compositor – Contract (London)

About the role

Framestore is seeking a skilled Compositor to join its London studio on a contract basis. The role involves working on high‑end visual effects for advertising, episodic and immersive projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of artists, producers and technologists.

Key responsibilities

• Composite complex shots that combine CG, 2D, 3D and live‑action elements using Nuke.
• Manage time and workflow in partnership with supervisors and producers to meet tight deadlines.
• Balance creative and technical aspects, ensuring accurate colour space handling and visual fidelity.
• Maintain clear notes, incorporate feedback and take ownership of workload.
• Share knowledge by contributing to Nuke training sessions and team learning.

Required profile

• Strong eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering superior client service both technically and creatively.

Required skills

• Professional experience using Nuke for compositing.
