Computer Science Teacher – Secondary School (Key Stages 3‑4)

About the role

Quantum Scholars is recruiting a passionate Computer Science Teacher for an outstanding all‑girls secondary school in South West London. The role starts in September 2026 and involves delivering engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A‑Level Computer Science for suitably experienced candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach core topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation and computational thinking.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum and share best practices with colleagues.
• Participate in wider school activities and support pastoral care initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge of programming and core computing concepts.
• Enthusiastic about delivering inspiring, student‑centred lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to helping every student achieve their full potential.
