Construction Project Manager

About the role

FindCore is assisting a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy to hire a Construction Project Manager on a permanent basis in London. The role will oversee projects from feasibility through to handover, acting as the primary client contact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction and property projects from feasibility to completion and handover.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, design teams and wider stakeholders.
• Produce programme, financial and risk reports for clients and directors.
• Chair project meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed.
• Support procurement, contract administration and project governance.
• Monitor quality, costs, change control and key financial milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.

Required profile

• Experience delivering construction or property projects within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, procurement routes and contract administration.
• Excellent project planning, organisation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and budgets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Professionalism, integrity and high attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence (advantageous) and membership of RICS, APM, CIOB or ICE (beneficial).
