Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

About the role

Grant Thornton is seeking a proactive Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its Corporate and Multinational tax team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of large, complex businesses, providing tailored tax compliance and advisory services while developing strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Advise a broad range of clients on corporate tax compliance and advisory projects.
• Prepare tax provisions, returns and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
• Produce technical tax advisory reports for client engagements.
• Support day‑to‑day client communications and deliver solutions alongside senior team members.
• Manage project budgets, work‑in‑progress and overall daily running of client assignments.
• Provide on‑the‑job coaching and support to junior team members.

Required profile

• Professional tax qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA, ICAS or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
• Experience managing a recurring portfolio of corporate tax clients.
• Curious, self‑motivated and enthusiastic about delivering high‑quality service.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including reduced hours or job‑share arrangements.
