Corporate Tax Manager – Large Corporates & International Groups

About the role

As a Large Corporate and International (LCI) Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio that includes large and international clients, delivering first‑class tax compliance and advisory services. You’ll help businesses navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and meet their ambitious goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage UK compliance cycles for large corporates and international groups, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations exceeded.
• Advise on complex issues such as Corporate Interest Restriction, corporate residence, permanent establishment risks, tax risk registers, Senior Accounting Officer regime, tax strategy, group restructuring, and cross‑border transactions.
• Contribute to the LCI service line’s strategic and business development plans and raise awareness of LCI issues across the firm.
• Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture.
• Identify tax planning opportunities, mitigate risks, and support proposals for high‑value clients to drive growth.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIOT qualified or equivalent.
• Strong corporate tax technical knowledge and solid understanding of UK tax regulations affecting large and international businesses.
• Extensive experience with year‑end tax reporting (corporation tax, deferred tax, accounts tax notes).
• Knowledge of other business taxes (e.g., VAT, Customs Duty, employment taxes) is preferable.
• Familiarity with UK accounting standards and ability to interpret financial statements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using databases.
