About the role
This full‑time advisory position is based in Manchester city centre and focuses on delivering high‑quality corporate and personal tax planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with senior managers and partners on complex assignments, helping clients navigate restructures, acquisitions and wealth‑preservation strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate and private clients, providing commercially focused tax advice.
- Advise on corporate tax planning, including restructures, reorganisations, demergers, MBOs, EOTs and due‑diligence reviews.
- Support clients through business acquisitions and disposals, highlighting tax implications.
- Provide guidance on business structuring, incorporations and profit extraction strategies.
- Contribute to personal and family wealth planning projects such as capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning.
- Review corporate tax computations to identify broader planning opportunities.
- Collaborate with managers and partners on complex advisory assignments.
Required profile
- Strong corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
- Demonstrated exposure to advisory work and client‑facing responsibilities.
- Ability to interpret legislation and communicate tax advice clearly and effectively.
