Country HR Partner

About the role

Vonage is seeking a Country HR Partner for the United Kingdom to act as the trusted local HR advisor. In this role you will bridge business strategy with talent execution, partnering with managers, regional leaders and global HR Business Partners to deliver people solutions that drive performance and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Global HR Business Partners to adapt and implement HR strategies for the UK market.
• Provide market insights to shape global initiatives and ensure relevance to local needs.
• Coach leaders on performance management, talent decisions, difficult conversations and leadership development.
• Manage employee‑relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance and policy compliance.
• Guide managers through compensation cycles, pay‑equity reviews, promotions and total‑rewards communications.
• Drive employee‑engagement programmes, analyse survey data and champion culture and inclusion across the UK.
• Support talent planning activities such as succession, workforce planning, organisational design and career development.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies while delivering pragmatic HR guidance.

Required profile

• Progressive HR experience with strong business‑partnering, employee‑relations and talent‑management focus.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee‑relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and settlement processes.
• Track record of coaching and developing managers to enhance leadership capabilities.
• Solid understanding of UK employment legislation (unfair dismissal, redundancy, TUPE, working‑time regulations) and ACAS Code of Practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
