Court of Protection Solicitor (Hybrid)

About the role

Fletchers is looking for a dedicated Court of Protection Solicitor to lead and develop its deputyship and trustee services. You will manage a diverse caseload, support clients with high‑value personal injury and clinical negligence claims, and work within a supportive, hybrid team across several UK locations.

Key responsibilities

• Run an independent caseload of Deputyship and Trustee matters, both pre‑ and post‑settlement.
• Supervise junior fee earners, providing technical guidance and delegating tasks.
• Attend clients in homes, hospitals, or care facilities to discuss budgets and priorities.
• Liaise with financial advisors on investment matters.
• Prepare accurate accounts, forecasts and budgets for Deputyship and Trustee cases.
• Manage applications to the Court of Protection and related procedural work.
• Conduct staff supervision, regular meetings and appraisals.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions and business development activities.

Required profile

• 0‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in Court of Protection property and affairs work.
• Experience setting up and running deputyship or trustee matters.
• Strong organisational and client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
