Cover Supervisor – Flexible School Cover Role

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across schools in North London and surrounding areas. The role involves providing classroom cover for a variety of students, including those with individual needs, on a flexible basis until the end of the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom supervision and support in schools across NW10 and nearby locations.
• Implement lesson plans and maintain a safe, disciplined learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of individual students.
• Work 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on assigned days.

Required profile

• Experience working with children and young people.
• A degree.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service (or willingness to obtain).
• Two professional references covering the last 24 months.

• Daily rate starting at £90 (up to £115 per day).
• Full‑time hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
• Fixed‑term contract lasting until the end of the academic year.
