Cover Supervisor (Part‑time, North Tidworth)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to deliver classroom instruction on a flexible, part‑time basis in the North Tidworth area. This temporary position offers the chance to gain hands‑on teaching experience while supporting schools during staff absences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a class in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver prepared lesson material and ensure learning objectives are met.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment and manage pupil behaviour.
• Provide feedback to the school on pupil progress and any issues observed.
• Adapt quickly to different year groups and subject areas as required.

Required profile

• Passion for education and a desire to develop classroom skills.
• Previous experience in an educational setting (e.g., teaching assistant, tutor, coach).
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work on short notice.
• Calm, patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
