About the role
A large secondary school in Redbridge is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to start in September 2026. You will deliver pre‑planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour and support the smooth running of the school on a day‑to‑day basis.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects.
- Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies.
- Keep students on task and engaged with learning activities.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff after each lesson.
- Support the overall daily operation of the school.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in UK secondary school classrooms.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Confidence delivering lessons to groups of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, energetic and adaptable attitude.
