About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Teacher for a mainstream primary school in Ilford (IG1). The role is a full‑time, term‑time contract starting in September 2026, offering the chance to work with a supportive senior leadership team.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for primary pupils.
- Mark assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Organise and attend parent evenings and communicate pupil progress.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole‑school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year teaching experience in the UK.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
