About the role

Are you a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor ready to make a real difference? Reeson Education is seeking a capable Cover Supervisor to work in a structured, dynamic school environment in Rotherham (S62) from September 2026. The role suits an adaptable, organised professional who can manage classroom behaviour while delivering pre‑set work effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lessons and ensure pupils stay on task.
• Maintain strong behaviour management and uphold school policies.
• Encourage participation and support pupils in completing assigned tasks.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil performance and behaviour.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
• Calm, confident approach to managing groups and handling challenging situations.
• Proactive and reliable work ethic.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
