Credit Hire Claims Handler

About the role

We are partnering with an award‑winning claims management firm to recruit an experienced Credit Hire Claims Handler. This fully remote position will see you manage a portfolio of motor credit hire claims from inception through to settlement, supporting both claimant and defendant sides.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate liability and negotiate settlements for credit hire claims.
• Manage both pre‑litigated and litigated cases within delegated authority limits.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with GTA and non‑GTA claim procedures.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and clear communication throughout the claim lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years’ experience handling motor claims, including credit hire claims.
• Experience with defendant credit hire claims is preferred, but strong claimant‑side experience is also considered.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and industry qualifications.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GTA and non‑GTA credit hire claims.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, enthusiastic attitude with a customer‑focused approach.
