About the role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Critical Care Outreach Charge Nurse to join its Outreach team. The role works 24/7 across all inpatient areas, providing advanced critical care assessment and early intervention for deteriorating patients. It is a full‑time permanent position based at 33 Grosvenor Place, London, with a salary range of £59,755‑£66,950.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out advanced assessment and care of deteriorating patients, leading to early intervention and treatment.
• Act independently as a specialist resource, providing critical care expertise to the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure the Critical Care Outreach Service meets regulator requirements, managing non‑compliance and escalating issues as needed.
• Serve as a clinical expert and role model, delivering high‑quality patient care and sharing expertise with colleagues.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration (First Level) with no practice restrictions.
• Full Occupational Health Clearance for Exposure Prone Procedures.
• Completion of an Advanced Physical Assessment Course.
• Completed Adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Course or equivalent.
• ALS Provider Course certification and demonstrable advanced critical care nursing skills.
