Customer Experience Advisor – Retail Banking (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Santander's Burton On Trent branch as a Customer Experience Advisor, working 17.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule. You will be the friendly face and voice of the bank, helping customers with everyday transactions, technology assistance, and fraud protection.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers in the branch and over the phone.
• Process cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals and other routine banking services.
• Provide guidance on using digital banking tools and in‑branch technology.
• Answer inbound calls to the contact centre, addressing queries and resolving issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and suggest enhancements.
• Build relationships with customers and promote appropriate Santander products.

Required profile

• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across a range of tasks in a busy branch environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to work on a rota covering Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 6 pm.
