Customer Service Advisor – Housing Repairs & Tenancy

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused Customer Service Advisors to join our Housing Repairs and Tenancy Services team in Birmingham. You will be the first point of contact for residents calling about a wide range of housing‑related issues, from routine repairs to urgent health and safety emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls related to housing repairs and tenancy enquiries.
• Accurately record issue details and assess repair priorities.
• Identify emergency versus non‑emergency repairs following company procedures.
• Provide clear advice and guidance to residents.
• Raise repair orders and schedule appointments where appropriate.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a contact centre, customer service, housing, or repairs environment is desirable but not essential.

• Weekly pay at £13.45 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
